About The Artist
Jackstraw Studio is home to Hellen Beamish, a fibre and
multi-media artist. She has been working with textiles and design for many years and uses a variety of techniques for her painted silk clothing and accessories.
Her commissions include wearable art and wall hangings that have found their way to Europe, Asia and the Caribbean as well as both Canada and the U.S.A.
Her wall hangings may be seen in both public and private buildings.
