Silk 'N' Glass

Hellen has developed a unique technique that bonds her hand-painted silk to glass, producing utilitarian serving dishes which double as room accents- all in breath-taking jewel tones.

• Dinner plate size is about 9 5/8 inches

• Dessert plate size is about 7 5/8 inches

• Bread and butter plate size is about  7 inches

Use them for cookies, hors d'oeuvre or as a service plates for a dramatic table setting.

They may be cleaned with a soapy cloth but do not immerse them in water as it is not meant for such rigorous treatment.

When your plate is not in use, hang it on a wall or support it on a small plate stand and enjoy it as you would any fine painting.
